宋代“永嘉杂剧”是我国最古老的戏曲形式之一，是流浪到温州的路岐人所演的杂剧与当地的里巷歌谣、村坊小曲相结合的产物。“永嘉杂剧”以它“简练、质朴”的风格吸引着当地人民，曾广为流传。“永嘉杂剧”约产生于南宋宋光宗绍熙（1190—1194）之前，其发展经历了三个阶段：宋代“永嘉杂剧”—元代“南戏”—明清“传奇”；其遗音以昆曲“曲牌”的形式被直接保存在《九宫大成》中，共计38支。

Yongjia zaju is one of the most ancient drama forms in China, and it is the outcome of the combination of the local drama that road show people who strayed to Whenzhou performances, lane ballads and village ditties. Yongjia zaju attracted local people with its “simple plain” style, and was once widely spread. Yongjia zaju was born about before the reign of the emperor Shaoxi, Guangzong of the Southern Song Dynasty. Its development experienced three stages: Yongjia zaju in Song Dynasty, the drama on Yuan Dynasty and the Legend of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The total 38 left sound was stored directly on the “Jiu Gong Da Cheng” with “tune” of the form.
