It was mainly ruled by the Koreans hereditarily who pledged allegiance to the Yuan Dynasty. At the same time, the Yuan Dynasty sent supervisors to control it. The establishment of Shuangcheng Zongguanfu greatly influenced the China-Korea relations during the Yuan Dynasty.
