珠海市郭汉东先生收藏的14件汉代编磬，保存完整，部分的磬面有其他磬叠压印痕，个别还粘着硃色漆片，应为近年出土。各磬的形制、质料和尺寸可参见王子初先生的记述。而在记录和读释磬上的铭文的过程中可发现，在14件磬中11件可见文字，这些铭文有的刻划极浅，笔道纤细，又杂以许多擦痕，只有在特定角度的光线下才能看到。

14 pieces of chimes collected by Guo Handong in Zhuhai remain intact. Some of them have moulages which were caused by being overlaid by other chimes, and some still have vermilion lacquer pieces attached to them. These information shows that they were newly excavated. The information of their shapes and structures, material and sizes can be found in Wang Zichu's record. When recording and interpreting the inscriptions on the chimes, 11 of these 14 pieces are found with inscriptions engraved by slim strokes, and with many scrapes which can be only seen at specific angle in the light.
