The eaves tiles of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty unearthed in Linzi have obvious styles with outstanding characteristics. Its decorative design themes are plentiful which originated from real life as well as non-realistic themes created by totemic worship. In the aspect of pattern composition, patterns of sheer symmetry, imperfect asymmetry and single design were used to create a variety of artistic and concrete, abstract and decorative images. These tiles reflected the spirit of the times, regional culture features and ideological consciousness and esthetics appreciation of people of that time from different levels and angles.
