玉山县发现明墓一座。死者夏浚，为玉山县人，曾任明朝广西参政，死于嘉靖四十年(公元1561年)，距今401年。死者尸体未腐烂，服饰亦保存尚好。此墓位于群力公社嘉湖山的山腰上。墓向正南。墓的地面上筑有围墙，墓前原有石人石马，现仅存石马两匹倒于山下。墓室长2.36米，宽 1米，高1.5米。在棺槨的四周密封一层厚达17公分的防腐物——松香，以隔绝空气和水渗入棺内。

A tomb of the Ming Dynasty was found in Yushan County. The occupant named Xia Jun, was a citizen of Yushan County. He was once the assistant administrator of Guangxi in the Ming Dynasty. He died in the 40th year of Jiajing's reign (AD 1561), 401 years from now. The corpse is unputrefied, and his clothes are relatively well-preserved. The tomb is located on the hillside of Jiahu Mountain in Qunli Commune, directing towards due south of the geographical location. There is an enclosing wall on the ground. Some stone figures and horses once stood in front of the tomb, but now only two remained stone horses fall down the hill. The tomb is 2.36 m long, 1 m wide and 1.5 m high. A layer of preserver—rosin, about17 cm in thickness, seals around the coffin in order to keep out the air and water.
