The ancestral temple of Huangdi is one li away from the north of Huangdi Spring in Fanshan town, Zhuolu County, Hebei Province. It belongs to the Song-Dynasty-style building which was built according to the Main Hall of Foguang Temple in Shanxi Province. The broad bucket arch (with a 18cm doukou), far-reaching canopy, gentle tiling ceiling, early dragon-head ridge ornament, elegant and beautiful flying rafter, harmonious color contrast, and the lofty Taiming, platform and step, etc., have delineated the early architectural style of grandeur, primitive simplicity and elegance.
