Baijiacun Site is located on the platform to the north Shore of Qinhe River, southwest of Baijia Village, Handan City. It was found by an archaeological team of Handan in a surface survey in the autumn of 1957. A large number of grinders are unearthed in Baijiacun Site, and most of them are still usable. They can be divided into two types, internal grinder and external grinder, based on their functions. Here the characteristics of one representative external grinder are described as follows. It is made from pink packsand with a long triangle shape and incomplete edge, and it is with a total length of 35cm, a bottom margin of 18.5cm, a thickness of 3-4cm. The obverse side has an arc-shaped grinding groove, with a length of 16cm or so, a depth of about 1.3cm or so. It is surrounded by visible pulps which may be grinding agent.
