李家坝巴文化墓地是李家坝遗址最引人注目的重要组成部分，1999年10-12月，考古学家第三次对该墓地进行了较大规模的发掘，清理战国时期竖穴土坑墓44座。本次发掘更进一步加深和充实完善了过去对李家坝遗址Ⅱ区巴文化墓地的时代、文化性质、社会习俗等问题的认识，获得了一批具有重要学术价值的成果：其时代可分为战国早、中、晚三期，以战国中期为主；再次发现了人殉、俯身葬、合葬，新发现曲肢葬；其文化性质为晚期巴蜀文化，其族群当为巴人。

英语语境:

Ba Culture graveyard is the most compelling important constituent of the Lihjiaba Site. From October to December in 1999, the archeologists carried out the third large scale excavation in this cemetery and 44 shaft tombs were unearthed. These excavations got a batch of important academic data which further deepened and enriched people's understandings to Ba Cultures graveyard in Area II of Lijiaba, including archaeological chronology, cultural properties and social customs. Its time span can be divided into three phases including early Warring States Period, middle Warring States Period and late Warring States Period. Other findings includes: the largest number of tombs belonged to the middle period; human sacrifices, prone burials, multi-burials are found again with the flexed burials as new proofs. The cultural properties of these tombs should be predicated to late Bashu Culture, and the occupants should be ethnically Ba people.
