Unearthed from the tomb of Fuhao in Yin Ruins of Shang dynasty in Anyang, Henan, in 1967, Fuhao Owl-shaped Zun is a pair of ritual utensils of similar appearance, size and carvings, with the height of 45.9 cm, diameter of 16.4 cm, and weight of 16.7 kg. It became known as Fuhao Owl-shaped Zun for the inscription of “Fuhao” on the interior wall below the mouth. According to the Oracle unearthed in Yin Ruins, the tomb's owner Fuhao was the wife of the King Wuding of the Shang dynasty. Fuhao Owl-shaped Zun embodied ancient people's desire for a peaceful life without war.
