春秋中晚期以来，东北和邻近地区流行无格无首、刃部弧曲或略直、多有分铸的T形剑柄的铜短剑，被称为“东北系剑”。目前所知，山东省境内共发现了两把东北系铜短剑和三把类似的短剑，年代在春秋晚期至战国晚期。这五把铜剑均在当时的齐国境内，这可能与齐国向东、南大举扩张领土密切相关。

英语语境:

Since the middle and late stages of Spring and Autumn Period, “Swords of Northeast Chinese System” have become popular in Northeast and its vicinity areas. They are bronze dirks, with no shelf and head, arc or straight blade, and mostly T-shape handle shaped by separate casting method. So far, two bronze dirks of Northeast Chinese system and three similar weapons have been discovered in Shandong Province. They go back to the time from the late Spring-and-Autumn to the late Warring States period. All of them were unearthed from the territory of Qi state at that time, which may be concerned with the large-scale eastward and southward expansion of the state.
