Fanggui (round shaped gui) is a rare type of bronze gui vessel and less than 10 pieces have been identified and recorded hitherto. Although the shapes and structures of the common Fanggui are diversified, for example, the ones without handle, and the ones with two, three or four handles; the ones with ring handles, affiliated handles, or pierced handles; the ones with round leg, quadrate base, three legs or four legs; all of them share several points of similarity, i.e., round opening mouth, bulged belly and round legs.
