By researching on the formulae and the dating systems found in Christian inscriptions, plus comparing with the parallels unearthed in Central Asian and Yangzhou etc., and with reference to Professor Niu Ruji and other scholars'research findings, an Australian research team has done preliminary translations of Christian inscriptions from Quanzhou with the longer and more readable texts. Moreover, the appendix concerning the translations of the parallels found in the Central Asian and Yangzhou is added as well.
