近日，南阳市博物馆在整理碑刻石碣的过程中，发现了一通珍贵的隋代造像碑。这通造像碑呈螭首长方体，为灰白色石灰岩质，通高165厘米，宽59厘米，厚18厘米。碑阳共刻上、中、下三个造像佛龛。上龛，位于碑阳顶端所刻两龙首之间，为长方形尖拱屋形龛，通高32厘米，宽23厘米，龛中刻一佛二弟子二菩萨。

Recently, Nanyang Museum discovered a precious figure stele of Sui dynasty when sorting out its stone tablets. This stele is in the form of rectangle with the head of Chi. It was made of white limestone, 165cm tall, 59cm wide, and 18cm thick. On the face of the stele three figure niches were carved on the top, middle and bottom. The top niche is between the heads of the two dragons carved on the stele, in the form of rectangle ogival arch. The niche is 32cm tall, 23cm wide with one Buddha, two disciples and two bodhisattvas carved in the middle.
