乌兰陶勒盖汉墓墓地，位于内蒙伊克昭盟锡尼镇东北约8公里处的一座孤立的山包周围，该山包下部均为红色胶土，故名乌兰陶勒盖(蒙语意为红色的山头)。山包相对高度约20米，四周沙化严重。在墓地的西北方向哈劳柴登有一座西汉武帝至王莽时所建的古城，东侧有陶来沟河，经墓地东侧向北流去。此墓地范围内，有百余座古墓因烧砖取土被破坏。

The Wulantaolegai tomb of the Han Dynasty lies in an isolated hill, 8 km northeast to Xini town in Yike Zhao League, Inner Mongolia. The clay at the bottom of the hill is red puddle, so it is named Wulantaolegai which means red hill in Mongolian. Its relative height is 20 meters, and desertification is serious around there. The northwest of the tomb is Halaochaideng, where there is an ancient city established during Emperor Wu to Wang Mang period in the Western Han Dynasty. The east of the tomb is the Taolaigou River, flowing northward through the east side of the tomb. Over one hundred tombs within the scope of the tomb are broken by borrowing earth to fire bricks.
