1989年10月，广西容县博物馆在容厢乡文物普查时，征集到一件宋代缠枝花纹瓷碗印模，这是当地农民于1988年在城关古窑址旁搞基建时发现的。印模为瓷质，质地细密坚硬，呈灰白色。通高12.5、面径9、柄长7.7 、柄径6.7厘米。模顶部呈半球状，表面平滑。边沿阴刻弦纹一圈，模壁阴刻缠枝菊花纹，其间隔刻正面、侧面菊花各3朵及“奠八郎”3字。顶心为月华式菊花纹，花纹线条清晰流畅，技法娴熟。

In October, 1989, the archaeologists of Rongxian County Museum in Guangxi Province carried out a heritage survey and collected a Song dynasty porcelain bowl moulage decorated with winding stem patterns, which was discovered by the local farmers when working in construction on the ancient kiln site in Chengguan District. The gray white moulage was made of porcelain and was very hard with close texture. Its height was 12.5cm, mouth diameter 9cm, handle length 7.7cm, handle diameter 6.7cm. The top of the moulage was hemispherical with a smooth surface. Its rim was surrounded by an intaglio string pattern, and there was an intaglio winding chrysanthemum pattern around the moulage, in which either the number of elevation drawing chrysanthemums or the number of chrysanthemums in profile was three respectively; besides it was also carved with three characters “奠八郎” (a memorial inscription for Balang). On the central top of the moulage, there were lunar corona style chrysanthemum patterns with clear and clean lines, which reflected the exquisite skills of the producer.
