1997年底， 江西省文物考古研究所在景德镇湖田窑发掘出土了一块外底刻有“迪功郎浮梁县丞臣张昂措置监造”铭的青瓷瓶底。对这块瓶底刻铭的考证， 关系到宋代景德镇湖田窑的贡瓷地位与年代问题。考古学者通过对这块刻铭的研究，得出张昂在景德镇监造贡瓷的时代约在北宋政和六年（1116）至重和元年（1119）。
英语语境:
At the end of 1997, the Jiangxi Provincial Cultural Relics and Archaeology Institute excavated a Hutian kiln in Jingdezheng. They unearthed a base of a celadon vase bearing the inscription of “Di Gong Lang Fuliang Xiancheng chen Zhang Ang cuozhi jianzao”. The study of this inscription help throw light on the position and dating of tributary porcelains produced by the Hutian kiln in Jingdezhen in the Song dynasty. By studying the inscription, archeologists held that Zhangang supervised the production of tributary porcelains in Jingdezhen for only three years, that is, from the 6th year of Zhenghe of Northern Song dynasty (1116) to the 1st year of Zhonghe.
