缂丝是我国古老而优秀的一种丝织工艺品。以故宫博物宫珍藏的缂丝精品为例，从实物的角度来看待、论述历代缂丝的工艺技法、构图、设色及风格特色，可以发现宋代的缂丝艺术已经达到了极高的成就。元代的缂丝常掺加金线，到了明代缂丝则添加了彩绘，而在清代的时候，缂丝则是缂绘、缂绣相结合，这些都使得缂丝成为我国丝绸艺术的珍宝。

英语语境:

Silk tapestry is a Chinese time-honored and exquisite silk handicraft. Taking the treasured collection of silk tapestries in the Palace Museum as examples and viewing and discussing techniques, patterns composition and styles of silk tapestry products in different historical periods, it is pointed out that silk tapestry craftsmanship saw its extreme prime in the Song Dynasty. In Yuan Dynasty, silk tapestry was often inlaid with gold thread and during Ming and Qing Dynasties they were respectively added with coloured painting and made by a combination of painting tapestry and embroidery tapestry which had made silk tapestry become a treasure of Chinese silk art.
