“Red-figure pottery Krater of ancient Greek” was produced in 350 BC. It is 30cm high and 25cm in diameter, with two handles at each side and the profiles of man and woman being engraved on the surface. The bottom color of the bell-shaped Krater is in dignified brick red. There are some black (slightly dark brown) handmade decorations which are somewhat similar to the ornamentation and people of Chinese porcelain glaze. In addition, around the rim of the Krater and beneath the portraits, there are foam patterns from left to right; on the bottom of the Krater, there exists olive branch decoration of simple and opposite leaves. The foam pattern reflects its traditional ocean culture and the unique geographical position of Greek which is located between the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean. The olive branch decoration is the symbolic of peace and has a moral that Olympics have their origin in ancient Greece.
