The glazed objects for construction, which were born and initially used in China, has gone through over one thousand years'development. The Forbidden City assembled a galaxy of the glazed objects for the imperial palace constructions in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and represented the highest-level manufacture process of the glazed objects for Chinese traditional architecture. Many of the glazed objects in the Forbidden City bear the seal marks of any styles and contents, which contained rich historical information, revealed the management of glazed tiles in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and showed the different levels of craftsmanship of the glazed objects in different stages of the history. It would be of great help for archeologists to study the history of development and firing techniques of the glazed objects.
