唐康文通墓(M2)位于西安市雁塔区延兴门村西，为大型前后室砖墓。墓坐北朝南，由墓道、天井、过洞、壁龛以及前室、甬道和后室组成。随葬品主要有三彩俑及器物、彩绘陶俑、瓷器、玉器、铜器及墓志等。其中描金彩绘三彩俑、天王俑、镇墓兽和武官俑，体形高大，做工精细，特别是在釉上施用了彩绘工艺，与以往同类三彩俑有明显区别，是三彩制作技术上的又一飞跃。

Kang Wentong tomb (M2) of Tang dynasty is located in the west of Yan Xingmen Village, Yanta District, Xi'an. This north-south oriented large brick tomb is consisting of a front and a rear chamber, a tomb passage, a courtyard, a tunnel, wall niches and so on. The major yield includes the tricolor figurines and objects, porcelain, jade and bronze articles, epitaph etc. The most noteworthy are the gold-traced large figurines, heaven king, tomb guardian, military officer and so on, whose unique craftsmanship of coloring on glaze is quite different from the hitherto tricolor figurines, meaning a break-through in terms of tricolor technique.
