1998年12月至1999年7月，云南省文物考古研究所会同昆明市博物馆、官渡区博物馆对昆明市小板桥镇羊甫头总面积4万余平方米的墓地进行发掘。此次发掘面积达10700平方米，共清理滇文化墓葬495座，东汉墓葬29座。出土随葬品近4000件，以青铜器为主，另有陶器、漆木器、铁器、玉石器等。其中，M113出土的青铜兵器和工具都保留了完整的漆木柲，并出土了造型奇特的漆木祖形器。墓地出土的漆木器色彩鲜艳，图案精美，极大地丰富了滇文化内涵。

From September 1998 to July 1999, archaeologists from the Institute of Archaeology of Yunnan, Kunming Museum and Guandu Museum carried out excavations of a graveyard with an area of forty thousand sq m at Yangfutou, Xiaobanqiao Township, Kunming. The excavation opened up a 10, 700 sq m, bringing to light 495 tombs of the Dian culture and 29 tombs of the Eastern Han. Of the 4, 000 pieces of funerary objects, bronze wares ranked first, with others like pottery, lacquered wooden ware, iron, jade and stone objects followed suit. Among them, Tomb M113 yielded a variety of bronze weapons and tools, which were equipped with well-preserved lacquered Mu Mao (wooden handle). Besides, mention should be made of a peculiar lacquer phallus-like object. All the lacquer objects showed nice designs in fresh color, and casted much light on the Dian culture.
