英语语境:

The Bailong Cave in Yunxi County, Hubei Province is an important paleoanthropological site in China, which was excavated twice. A large number of cultural remains including Homo erectus teeth, stone and bone artifacts, and many mammalian fossils were unearthed from the site. The Bailong Cave was formed in the conglomerates, micrites and marlites of the Pliocene epoch, whose near-horizontal joints and cracks provided prerequisites for the forming of the cave, and the vertical seepage was the main resorption pattern. Bailong cave belonged to autochthonous burial, where the mammalian fauna showed similarities to the early Middle Pleistocene mammalian fauna.
