英语语境:
The findings of different sources of stones indicated that Xiaohuangshan people had had a good knowledge and a sense of selectivity on rock materials 8000 to 9000 years ago. Besides, relationships between stone artifacts and lithology of rock materials were strongly close which reflected ancient people's understanding of physical properties of rocks and their attentional selection on those rocks, as well as the constant progress of the society. The grinding slabs and hand-stones were made of basalt which differed sharply from grinding tools unearthed from many other sites that were made of sandstones. Such choice may be related to the processing efficiency of the grinding tools.
