As one of China Time-honored Brands, “Wang Xing Ji”has a history of one hundred years in fan industry. The traditional fan-making handicraft of “Wang Xing Ji”, however, has been kept quite intact after having undergone the vicissitudes of history. By investigating and keeping records of the manufacturing process of black fan and sandalwood fan which represent traditional characteristics of the fan-making craft of “Wang Xing Ji”, such non-material cultural heritage can be well protected.
