2012年4-6月，南京市博物馆对位于南京市雨花台区铁心桥小村的两座南朝砖室墓进行了发掘。两座墓均为竖穴土坑砖室墓，出土有青瓷盏、陶俑、陶器座、陶凭几、陶耳杯、滑石猪、铜钱等。两座墓用砖形制、纹饰、铭文较为丰富。其中，一号墓（编号M1）出土有与“竹林七贤”、龙、虎等题材有关的画像砖，这对研究以“竹林七贤与荣启期”为题材的拼镶壁画墓提供了新的考古学材料，同时也对研究南朝墓葬制度具有重要的意义。

Nanjing Municipal Museum conducted an excavation on the two tombs dating back to the Southern Dynasty at Xiaocun, Tiexinqiao, Yuhuatai District in Nanjing during April to June in 2012. Both of them are earthen pit shaft tombs with brick chambers. The unearthed objects include celadon cups, pottery figures, pottery holdings, potter arm rests, eared pottery cups, stone pigs, and bronze coins. The two tombs are equipped with a great variety of brick structures, decorative patterns and inscriptions. Pictorial bricks with the Seven Sages, dragons and tigers were unearthed from Tomb M1, which provides new archaeological data to the study of the tombs with pieced murals focusing on“the Seven Sages and Rong Qiqi”and is of great value to the research of the burial system in the Southern Dynasty.
