英语语境:

As a common pattern, the linked-pearl pattern on fabric was introduced from Sasanid Empire in West Asia during Tang period. However, the linked-pearl pattern was first shown on some potteries as early as the New Stone Age. Chinese weavers didn't employ the linked-pattern on fabric until Tang Dynasty because the warp-patterned techniques were widely used on fabric at that time. Since the fabric with linked-pearl patterns was introduced into China, it has greatly prompted the development of ancient fabric patterns and the wide application of weft-patterned techniques, and even the invention of the string-heddle patterning loom which lifted the traditional Chinese textile industry out of the doldrums and broke new ground for fabric technology in ancient China.
