“Moe (cute and adorable)” is the name of Xiao You (a drinking vessel, also called “owl-shaped you”), which became very popular in the network in 2011, and has received very high social recognition since then. The Bronze Owl-shaped You, unearthed in Erlangpo village, Shilou county and collected by ShanXi Museum now, is an elegant artwork of the late Shang Dynasty. Xiao You is not only the utensil serving as a drinking vessel, but also belongs to one of the most important “temple's sacred treasures”. It is shaped in the image of owl, which is a symbol of a goddess of divinity, death and rebirth, and god of war.
