During the Tang Dynasty, ChaoHe was an important and intricate ceremony with fine spectacle. And on that day, the poetry literary creation was also an essential part of the ritual. At Spring Festival, the poetry describing the imperial insignias in ChaoHe ceremony, aimed to reveal the meaning behind the flag and promote supreme authority of the emperor. The guard of honour, which was grand and magnificent, fully reflecting the royal dignity and the honor of the emperor, can be seen the symbol of the supreme identity.
