康熙朝瓷器中，有一些带“西园”印文的瓷器，多为文房用具。这些瓷器表面一侧以五彩绘纹饰，另一侧配有墨彩诗文，诗尾有“西园”署款或篆书“西园”印章，或两者皆有。这些瓷器画工精细，诗文笔法洒脱，字体遒劲有力，墨彩漆黑如墨，风格独特。以往观点认为这些瓷器上所用“西园”印款为高凤翰字、号，但通过对高凤翰的生平事迹、相关艺术作品及其“西园”印款流变的考证，可发现事实并非如此。

英语语境:

There're some porcelains with the script of a seal of “Xiyuan“ in the porcelains during the reign of Kangxi period. Most of them were stationery appliance. On the one side of the surface there're colorful emblazonries while on the other side there're poetic proses written in dark color, and at the end of these proses there're signatures of “Xiyuan”or seals with seal characters “Xiyuan”, or both of them. The paintings on these distinctive porcelains are elaborated; the poetic proses are written in a free and easy way; the dark color is as dark as ink in its unique style. People used to think that the seal mark of “Xiyuan” on those porcelains belonged to Gao Fenghan's, however recent researches on his life and artistic works, together with the textual research on the deformation of the seal and signature, has showed a different story.
