1982年11月间，千阳县崔家头公社社员挖土时，发现一铜壶盖，内有一铜斧。据出土情况，考古学者认为这两件器物是出自墓葬中。此墓早年被盗，只剩两件残器，从器物的形制和纹饰看，属西周中期后段。铜壶盖高十五厘米，口径十四厘米，盖冠作圈状，盖顶中心饰圆涡纹，圆涡纹外一周饰重环纹，盖冠外一周饰鳞纹，盖口沿上部饰窃曲纹，口沿外周有铭文四行，每行三字，共十二字。

英语语境:

In November 1982, members of Cuijiatou commune, Qianyang County, excavated one copper pot lid, in which there was a bronze axe. According to the excavations, archaeologists believed that the two artifacts came from one ancient tomb, which was stolen in early years while only the two items survived. Judging from the shapes, structures and patterns, they may originate from the second half of the Middle Western Zhou Period. The height of the copper pot lid is 15cm, the mouth diameter 14cm. The lid is in the shape of circle, and on the central top of it there are some whorl designs. Besides, outside of the whorl design and the lid there are a round of multiple annular patterns and ripple patterns respectively; along the upper part of the lid mouth carves with Qiequ patterns and there are four lines of inscriptions outside of the lid mouth with three characters in each line and twelve characters in total.
