玉带，是我国古人所使用的一种饰玉腰带。目前出土的辽代玉带并不是很多，有十几副，完整的较少，且大多数玉带素面无纹饰，这就使得敖汉旗出土的这组胡人乐舞纹玉带显得尤为突出。这套玉带饰由玉铊尾及8块玉带銙组成。8件玉带銙上的胡人皆为半盘坐，分别作饮酒、吹笙、打拍板、吹长笛、弹琵琶、击毛员鼓、击鸡娄鼓、吹觱篥状。所刻人物服饰及面部略同，均为卷发，深目，高鼻，长须，身穿胡服，足蹬长靴。

The jade belt is a kind of waistband decorated with gems used by ancient Chinese. So far, only a dozen jade belts in the Liao Dynasty have been unearthed, and most of them are incomplete and simply made without any decoration, which makes this group of Tartars'jade belts with dancing patterns excavated from the Aohan Banner appear to be particularly prominent. This set of jade ornaments consists of jade thallium tail and 8 Yudai Kua ornamentations. The portraits of Tartars engraved on the 8 Yudai Kua ornamentations are all sitting with their legs crossed, respectively drinking, blowing pipe instruments, playing the clappers, playing the flutes, playing the pipa (Chinese lute), pounding Maoyuan drum, beating Jilou drum, blowing Tartar pipe. Both the costumes and facial expressions of the Tartars are alike: curly hair, deep eyes, high nose, long beard, wearing Hu dress and boots.
