The grounded theory is a qualitative research method based on database, including three steps: open coding, axial coding and selective coding. The hotel culture has characteristics of invisibility, high quality, comprehensiveness and serviceability, and it can be divided into material culture, behavior culture, rules and regulations culture and spiritual culture. Through a survey with customers'perceptions and evaluations as the database and on the basis of the grounded theory, the factors that influence the evaluation of hotel culture are screened and refined to form the theory of factors affecting customers'evaluation of hotel culture, and researchers summarize four key factors ("decoration and function", "quality of service", "ambience", and "marketing operation") and three complementary elements ("spiritual concept", "hotel category", and "personal preference").
