In electricity market, the day-ahead spot market adopting first-price sealed-bid auction is a main transaction mode. To research the bidding strategy of power generation enterprises in spot market and their influences on post-transaction effects, researchers build up a supply function equilibrium model for spot market analysis, and the basic assumption for the built model is that the power generation enterprises possess generalized linear marginal cost and submit generalized linear supply function to participate in the bidding in the market. Because the analysis can be simplified by use of the assumption of both marginal cost with zero intercept and supply function, researchers propose an algorithm to transform the generalized linear supply function model into linear supply function with zero intercept, i.e., the normalization of the model.
