在出现经济摩擦的情况下，中国从来都避免采取武力或经济制裁等硬性手段，主张在平等协商和谈判的基础上解决分岐。而作为冷战后世界上唯一的超级大国的美国，受其资本主义经济外交理念的支配，却将经济制裁作为其经济外交政策的核心。经济制裁是把“双刃剑”，有可能在国际政治中得以延续。但是如果不转变传统的制裁思维，经济制裁的最终破产又将是历史的必然。

英语语境:

China has been persisting in following its diplomatic principles of pursuing equality and mutual benefit with other countries and always avoids the use of force, economic sanctions, etc. However, the United States, as the only superpower in the world after the Cold War, is dominated by its capitalist economic diplomacy and tends to use economic sanctions as the core of its economic diplomacy. The economic sanction is a two-edged sword, which may continue to be wielded by the superpowers in the international politics, but it will not always work or even come to useless if the holders do not change their blind belief of the power of economic sanctions.
