The last 16 articles of Guanzi, also called the light and heavy theory, embody the special economic and managerial thought in ancient China. Previous scholars have mainly stated this theory from the angles of supply and demand law and the quantity theory of money. But now people focus on the thought of economic equilibrium in the light and heavy theory. After presenting the partial equilibrium, dynamic equilibrium and general equilibrium in the light and heavy theory, researchers try to reconstruct the equilibrium analysis of the light and heavy theory by the analytical tools in modern economics.
