英语语境:
The important route of promoting rural sustainable development is increasing input of high-tech and applied technological elements, strengthening agrotechnology demonstration and extension, and promoting the ecologicalization of agricultural production and rural living conditions. Chinese development during the past 20 years has indicated that the appropriate innovation of technology and policies is a strong tool to promote rural sustainable development. However, with the continual development of national social economy, the rapid process of urbanization, as well as the proposal of socialist new rural areas construction plan, the sustainable development in rural areas is confronted with severe pressure concerning resources and environment protection, such as the shortage of water resources, the decrease of farm land, as well as the environmental pollution.
