In recently years, FAMC (Financial Asset Management Corporations) has performed quite well but there are some problems remained. For example, the orientation of FAMC is unclear, the legal and institutional environment is imperfect, the corporate governance structure is unsound, and the degree of market-oriented business needs to be improved. Along with the financial sector's new reform and opening up in China, FAMC is expected to play an active role in the reform of the state-owned commercial banks.
