With economic globalization and trade liberalization, China's market is more open to all nations.So under this circumstance, if China employ trade policies with over protection as before, it would obviously counteract the process of economic globalization and trade liberalization.However, the absolutely liberal trade policy is not desirable because the traditional free trade policy and the non-free trade policy has been unable to adapt to the background of economic globalization.So for a long time, choice of trade policies is always controversial in theory and in application.
