The cultural exchange between China and Japan has a long history.But from modern times, Japan used the violence to challenge the Chinese order which had been existed in East Asia for thousands of years, and attempted to establish "the Greater East Asian Co-prosperity Sphere".Now their historical memories and ideas still reflect in current Japan's political diplomacy and security issues, forming the strategy conflict between China and Japan and hindering the process of multilateral cooperation in East Asia.Both sides need to agree on East-Asian history and absorb historical experience in order to construct harmonious society in East-Asia.
