国民参政会是抗战初期国共合作的产物，是国民政府创造民主气氛，进行民主抗战的体现。它的成立从一个侧面反映了国民政府的政治态度和抗战政策的变化，顺应了广大人民抗日的政治愿望，推动了抗战的进程。但是，由于国民政府的专制独裁统治，国民参政会成立不久便表现出了极大的局限性。
英语语境:
National Political Assembly (NPA) was a product of Kuomintang and Communist Party Cooperation in the Early Period of Anti-Japanese War, and an embodiment for National Government to practice democracy and carry on anti-Japanese War.Its establishment reflects the change of political attitude of the National Government and the Anti-Japanese War policy from one aspect, conforms to the political aspirations of the broad masses of the people to fight against Japan and promotes the process of the war of resistance.However, due to the fact that National Government practised autocratic rule, there is great limitation in NPA after its foundation.
