The G8 Summit incorporated the climate change topic into its regular agenda for the first time in 2005. Since then its statements on climate change have attracted great attention of the international communities.We briefly introduce the main contents of climate change issues in the Joint Declaration titled Growth and Responsibility in the World Economy by the G8 Summit in 2007, and analyze the responses and comments of various international communities to this declaration. Finally, we bring forward some issues related to this declaration that need further study.
