The practice of the national self-determination has shaped contemporary politics in the world. So far, Chinese and foreign researchers'studies about it are mainly from two angles: (1) historical perspective in which its origin, development and influence are explored ; (2) legal perspective in which the subject, object and substance of the rights of national self-determination, and its relationships with other rights such as sovereignty and human rights are analyzed.
