France is plagued by major terrorist attacks carried out frequently by native Muslim descendants in these days. The reasons are that the immigration policy of the French Republican model encounters difficulties in the practice of Muslim social integration, the marginalized status of Muslim groups is increasingly solidified in terms of education, employment, and political participation, and the phenomenon of "parallel society" has become increasingly prominent, which have led to the national identity crisis among the Muslim descendants and some of them have moved toward terrorism under the influence of the Islamic State and other religious extremist organizations. With the continuous intensification of the terrorist attacks, the economic crisis and the refugee crisis, the French society set off a new wave of xenophobia, bringing more uncertainty to the Muslim integration. France and the whole of Europe may run into a vicious circle of terrorist attacks and rightist xenophobia.
