Constitution of the United States of America (1787) is a typical constitutin of separation of power, for its first three parts have explained the authority and responsibility of congress, president and federal court respectively. The ultimate purpose of separation of power is to guarantee people's right and build a complete alliance. Therefore, the separation of power in the U.S. constitution is a form of restriction of the power of government. The arrangement to restrict government's power and guarantee individual's right is called constitutionalism.
