With economic development, the subject protected by China's intellectual property law presents a new trend: covering several domains, such as the trademark right, patent right, copyright and so on. According to the regulations of Trademark Law, any trademark can be extended one time every ten years which means that period of trademark protecting can be extended unlimitedly. Therefore, more and more areas are involved in trademark, such as names of works and dot com names registered as trademarks. Since there lacks explicit law regulation, it is intractable to be disposed. More discussion should be made on how to protect the work's name and whether the person who is not the copyright owner should register it as the trademark.
