In the light of the theoretical model of rational action, this study examined the topic and the research results indicated that consumer ethnocentrism was an expansion of theoretical model of rational action. Consumer ethnocentrism had a positive impact on the purchase intention of domestic brands and a negative impact on the purchase intention of foreign brands.
