When discussing the dynamic comparison index of time series, general textbooks of statistics hold that there exists direct relation between successive and accumulative increments and between the equation velocity of fixed base and link relative, but do not mention the relation between the growth velocity of fixed base and that of link relative. This paper thinks that there also exists direct relatiion between the growth velocity of fixed base and that of link relative. It further discusses the respective strong and weak points of the traditional method used in interconversion between them, and the method used in this paper.
