This article, by means of analyzing and summarizing the two different kinds of cultural structures and forms, discussed that there exist both many differences and inner continuity and the logic of development between post-modernity and modernity. Thus, post-modernity is a kind of modernity too, and it is not the end of modernity, but is the modernity of a coming times and a new phase that modernity develops. Therefore, post-modernity is the self-reflection and self-trancending of modernity.
