“手段性越轨”是我国转型时期越轨行为的一种重要表现。这种以“非法谋利、非法致富”为特征的越轨行为，恰恰表明社会规范自身有了某些缺陷:规范间的冲突、规范的弱化以及规范的乏力，使得社会规范在某种程度上丧失了对社会成员的约束力，导致手段性越轨的出现。

英语语境:

The deviation of means is embodied by the deviant behaviors during social transition period in China, characterized by “making a project or fortune illegally”. This sort of deviant behavior indicates that social standards have their own defects: conflicts between standards, erosion and lack of force, which make social standards, to some extent, lose the bounds on social members and then lead to the emergence of the deviation of means.
