20世纪国内藏戏研究可分为两个阶段。第一阶段是1930～1970年代末，可视为国内藏戏研究的初发期；第二阶段是1980～1990年代，可视为国内藏戏研究的兴盛期。与前一阶段相比，后一阶段有关藏戏研究的文章和论著不仅在数量上有了大幅度的提高，且在历史渊源、剧种流派划分、藏戏剧目、面具艺术、表演音乐和现状发展等研究内容方面也有了进一步的拓展和深入。

英语语境:

Studies on Tibetan opera in the 20th century in our country can be divided into two stages: the first stage is from 1930s till late 1970s which can be regarded as the incipient period.The second stage is the era from 1980s to 1990s that can be regarded as the flourishing period. Comparing to the previous stage, articles and books on Tibetan opera in the later stage have not only increased in amount but also further expanded and substantial in contents including historical origins, opera divisions, opera play lists, opera masks, music performance and current researches.
